Incident Details
Industrial action by the TSSA union will affect London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway services on Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July.
On these dates, a reduced service will operate on some routes, while other routes will have no train service at all. Please see below for a more detailed impact.

London Northwestern Railway:
Friday:
A limited service will be in operation on the following routes only:
- London Euston - Milton Keynes Central: 1 train per hour
- London Euston - Birmingham via Northampton: 1 train per hour
- London Euston - Crewe: 1 train per hour
- Watford Junction - St Albans Abbey: 1 train per hour
- Birmingham - Liverpool: 1 train per hour
No trains will run past 19:00, with final departures significantly earlier.
There will be no service all day on the following routes only:
- Bedford - Bletchley
- Stafford - Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent
Saturday:
A limited service will be in operation on the following routes:
- London Euston - Milton Keynes Central: 1 train per hour
- London Euston - Birmingham via Northampton: 1 train per hour
- London Euston - Crewe: 1 train per hour
- Watford Junction - St Albans Abbey: 1 train per hour
- Birmingham - Liverpool: 1 train per hour
Services will start later than usual from 07:00. Early morning services will not run.
There will be no service all day on the following routes:

West Midlands Railway:

- Birmingham International - Rugeley Trent Valley via Birmingham New Street: 1 train per hour
- Walsall - Wolverhampton via Birmingham New Street: 1 train per hour
- Redditch / Bromsgrove - Lichfield (Cross City Line): 2 trains per hour

- Hereford - Birmingham New Street
- Leamington Spa - Nuneaton
- Kings Norton - Birmingham New Street (Camp Hill Line)
- Birmingham New Street - Shrewsbury

A limited service will run on the following routes only:

Alternative options:
If you hold a ticket for travel on a train which has been cancelled you can return it to your place of purchase for a full refund. No administration fee will be charged.
Alternatively, tickets dated Friday 10 or Saturday 11 July can be used on an alternative London Northwestern Railway service / West Midlands Railway service on Thursday 9 July or Sunday 12 July instead.

Will my ticket be valid on other operators?
On Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July you can use your ticket at no extra cost on:
- Chiltern Railways between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Snow Hill
- Great Western Railway between Hereford and Worcester Shrub Hill
- Transport for Wales between Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury
Additionally, any customers who hold a season ticket can also use West Midlands Metro services on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July at no extra cost. Please note this will only be between Birmingham city centre and The Hawthorns.
Compensation:
You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
